New benefits have been developed in Ukraine to support business during the war: what will change

The laws provide for the dismissal of imports of equipment and parts for staffing from VAT and duties, extension of the service life of registered PPOs by the end of martial law, as well as privileges for payment of a single tax for 4 FOP groups. The Tax Policy Committee supported the bill #8298 and #8299, which proposes to introduce tax and customs benefits for industry and business during martial law. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak informed about it in his Telegram-channel.

The purpose of the laws is to support the domestic industry and business during the war, as well as to support institutions of vocational (vocational-technical) and professional higher education.

The laws, in particular, provide for: it is noted that the adoption of these laws will increase the efficiency of customs and tax legislation, promote the efficient, uninterrupted and proper functioning of the economy and industry during the war, will ensure price availability and supply of critically important equipment.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance has drafted a bill "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and other laws of Ukraine on the peculiarities of taxation during the period of martial law" on the abolition of a number of tax benefits for business introduced in the first months of a full -scale war. Yes, business tax benefits are proposed to be canceled no later than July 1, 2023.
