Let's go to attack and return Crimea: Zelensky about the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces

According to the President, the success of the Ukrainian army depends largely on the supply of Western weapons. The Great War with Russia can last for years and even decades, he warned. The Armed Forces of Ukraine really plan a counterattack and the return of Crimea. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with the Finnish edition "Yle", which was published on April 28. "The success of Ukraine depends largely on whether the weapon supply will continue.

We want to save as much lives as possible, so the number of weapons matters," the head of state stressed. According to him, Russian troops, every day, lose their motivation, fearing the consequences in the event of retreat. Zelensky did not reveal the contradiction details in communication with journalists. Despite his hope, he warned that the war can last for years or even decades. "Other countries are cheaper to support Ukraine now than to increase the risks of the Third World War," he said.

The full -scale war of Russia with Ukraine cannot end in the same way as the Second World War ended for Finland, says the President. "Finland not only gave way to Russia, but also lost many lives. I believe that such an opportunity cannot be given," the head of state said. According to Zelensky, it was "offensively and unfairly" that other countries did not help Finland repel Russia's aggression.

Recall that the former US Army Commander in Europe Mark Hertling believes in the possibility of the Armed Forces of release of a large part of the occupied territories during the expected spring counter -offensive. However, Hertling believes that the counter -offensive of the Armed Forces will not end a great war with Russia. Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has agreed with these estimates. According to him, the last battle will lead to the full liberation of the territories of Ukraine.
