Conversations with "Allies": in ISW told what the Russian Federation agreed with Iran and Belarus

According to experts, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoiga came to Belarus to put pressure on Lukashenko. At the same time, Russian General Fomin in Tehrani agreed to supply for the Russian Federation of Iranian missiles and drones. Russian military officials held the highest level meetings with representatives of Iran and Belarus.

In particular, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigy came to Belarus, where he met with the leader Alexander Lukashenko and the Minister of Defense of the country, Major General Viktor Khrenin, and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation General Alexander Fomin, General General General General Iranu. What Russia is trying to negotiate with the "allies", says the material of the Institute for War Research (ISW).

According to the analysts of ISW, Shoigu came to Belarus to put pressure on the country's leadership in order to further support the offensive campaign of Russia in Ukraine. This is due to the fact that Belarus is unlikely to enter the war in Ukraine because of internal factors that restrain Lukashenko's desire to get involved in the armed conflict.

"The Ministers of Defense of Russia and Belarus have met in Minsk, probably for further strengthening of bilateral relations in the field of security between Russia and Belarus," analysts write. During the meeting of the head of the defense agencies of the two countries, they signed amendments to the Agreement on Joint Support of Regional Security in the military sphere. Subsequently, Shoigi negotiated with Lukashenko about the further prospects of military cooperation of the two states.

In particular, Lukashenko stated that he was not going to scare anyone, however, reflecting not only Ukrainians but also Poles, reflecting on security in the region. "I am not going to be here to scare anyone. You are only so frightened-frightened. But if they want us to live peacefully in our region, despite how they look through the ocean, and Russia and Belarus to This is ready.

If they want to fight for the last whether a Ukrainian or a Pole or mercenaries, well, it's their right, it is their right, "Lukashenko said, adding that, according to Belarusian special services, the Ukrainian side does not want some negotiations. According to him, if Ukraine does not want to negotiate "humanly", then the war of the Russian-Ukrainian war will continue, and Minsk undertakes to fulfill all the conditions of agreements with Moscow. "We are not hiding here in the bush.

We frankly declared our position. Neither you nor we wanted war and we want. It is well that recently that President Poroshenko said why he needed" Minsk " - here are these negotiations in 2014 and so on. It turns out that he was preparing for the war. Well, then to blame us that we are guilty of something . . . Well, he was preparing for war, today they will get up this situation, "Lukashenko said.

It was also known that on December 3 in Tehran a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin with the chief of the General Staff of Iran, Major-General Mohammad Begier, took place. According to ISW analysts, officials discussed the issues of military cooperation, namely the sale of Russia to Iranian drones and missiles for their use in the war against Ukraine.
