On February 21, a beauty contest called "Miss Eco International" started in Egypt and 30 girls from all over the world took part in it, including Anastasia Lahuta. On March 3, the next stage of the event and Kharkiv natives could not go in the top 21, but managed to get into the scandal. The girl took a photo alongside Russian Eugene Parmen and Egyptian TV presenter Yasmin Sayda posted him on her page on the social network Facebook.
The publication states: "From Miss Russia and Miss Ukraine, a friendship that does not recognize the war" and Anastasia Lahuta made a repost. This caused a negative reaction in the comments and the girl had to apologize later. "My dear Ukrainians! I want everyone to apologize. I have a relative in Ukraine and I help them. I help our soldiers. But it was a beauty contest. And one man did it for PR. I will understand it now.
