In Germany will be denied athletes from the Russian Federation if the IOC will allow them to be in the competition

The German government will disagree with the International Olympic Committee if the organization approves the participation of Russians and Belarus in international competitions. Germany has promised to refuse athletes from the Russian Federation and Belarus in the event of their admission to international competitions. This was stated on April 10 by German Minister of Internal Affairs Nancy Feser, the N-TV channel reports. In this case, the International Olympic Committee will not support.

Germany will not grant appropriate entry permits. "We will always act with a clear position," she said. Fezer stressed that the states in which major sports events take place should control the likelihood of Russians participation in competitions. According to her, the opening of international tournaments for Russian representatives would be "slap Ukrainian athletes". The head of the department also mentioned the main culprit of the war of Russia against Ukraine.

She called the Kremlin's head of Vladimir Putin "the Pali of War". According to her, the admission of Russians to international competitions degrades other nations and destroys the moral principles of the civilized world. "It would mean to betray all the values of sports," the German added. In Poland, on March 30, they called a condition for which athletes from the Russian Federation and Belarus were ready to let in.

According to the Minister of Sports Kamil Bortnichuk, the Russians and Belarusians will have to sign a special declaration to allow them to be admitted. The country will not invite Belarusian and Russian athletes to the competition if they do not sign the relevant document that they condemned the war started against our country by Russia. Ann Idalgo, Mayor of Paris, on Tuesday, February 7, said she did not want Russian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.
