"It all points out that the Russians intentionally killed prisoners of war in Olenivka," Jablonsky said in a comment on Pap.

He stressed that this crime should not be left without consequences for the Russian aggressor country and called for Olenivka "very loud". “Russia has committed a war crime again, it is not the first crime in this war. It is a crime that is very reminiscent of those that Russia has made for many decades of its existence - the murder of prisoners. We ourselves have such an experience related to Katin, ”the Polish diplomat said.

In the colony, the occupiers kept in particular the defenders of Mariupol, including the fighters of the Azov Regiment. The UN and the Red Cross had to guarantee their safety.

Russian propaganda media said at least 53 Ukrainian captive servicemen were killed. According to the Attorney General's office, about 40 people were killed as a result of the Russian terrorist attack and were injured.
