In the Kyiv region, an organized criminal group was neutralized, which moved to the side of Russian troops during the temporary occupation of the Buchan district. This was reported on Friday, August 26, by the Security Service of Ukraine. They said that at the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the attackers acted as leaders and gave "recommendations" on the arrangement of fire positions for Russian artillery, in particular among residential buildings.

Video day, in addition, they assisted the occupiers in the arrangement of checkpoints, machine gun points and places of military equipment, participated in the patrol of the territory of one of the local residential complexes, and gave a guidance to locals. “It was by such directions that the invaders burst into the homes of local residents and stolen people. Victims and threats of physical violence were applied to the victims, ”the SBU noted.
