SAR-satellites work on the technology of "synthesized aperture" radars, which allows them even in conditions of high cloudiness, fog, storm and even at night to see everything that is happening on the ground. There is no magic in this, simply scientists used the battery skill to send radio waves into space and form a "picture" on the basis of information received.
Banazade's solder is one of the founders of Capella Space, which on a commercial basis supplies high quality images with a synthesized aperture (SAR). The company builds its own satellites, and then with NASA, SpaceX or RocketLab sends them into orbit. Typically, Capella Space is the customers of state or large agricultural companies that need assistance in land planning and critical infrastructure monitoring.
But because of Russia's attack on Ukraine, Capella Space was needed by our military in order to monitor the movement of troops and equipment of Russian invaders. And Capella Space actively assists our intelligence and provides satellite images of the Government of Ukraine. "It is very important for us to observe the movement of Russian troops, especially at night, when ordinary technologies of blind,"-wrote Viceremier-Minister of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov in his letter to Capella Space.
