"Easy Purpose": The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation declared the beating

The captured drone is similar to the Ukrainian Hexacopter Bat, presented in October 2022. The Russian military allegedly knocked down a large Ukrainian drone bomber on the outskirts of Bakhmut of Donetsk region. This is how the Russian TV channel "Star" said, which is overseen by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the correspondent Igor Lapik, Russian soldiers managed to knock down the drone with the help of small arms.

The UAV-HEXACACOCACT (equipped with six screws) carried four grenades, which probably did not have time to drop into the positions of the invaders. In addition, it is equipped with two batteries and a video camera of night vision. "He flies on gasoline, very noisy, and in the dark it glows red light bulbs, so it is the most affordable and easy goal," - said a Russian journalist.

In the published roller it can be noted that the drone damaged one of the racks on which the screw is attached, most likely, this breakdown and caused the landing. The apparatus is reminiscent of the Ukrainian hexacopter "Bat", which volunteers showed in the fall of 2022. At least three of these UAVs were handed over to the Kraken Special Forces, the Azov Regiment and the National Guard.

It is argued that the "bat" is equipped with a special mounting system and discharge of ammunition in the form of grooves and ropes with ringing rings opened under the operator command. Due to the high load capacity (up to 20 kg), it can carry up to three 60 mm, 82 mm and 122 mm minutes. The flight speed is 120 km/h and the flight duration is up to 40 minutes. Goals help to find a camera with a 10-fold zoom and a simple thermal imaging.
