Less than a quarter of modern combat tanks will be able to arrive in Ukraine in time to the expected spring offensive of Russian troops. About it reports the edition of The Times. Ukraine expects Western allies to receive 320 units of this heavy machinery. However, by the beginning of April, only 50 units of tanks will probably come to the front.

This is of concern that such a number of weapons will not be able to affect the course of hostilities. German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said his ministers will try to convince more than 80 Leopard 2 tanks during the Munich Security Conference during the Munich Security Conference, which should form the basis of the European contribution. At the same time, he said that the effect of tanks could be more symbolic than a strategic breakthrough.
