The ignition began at the substation in Shebekino. Local authorities claim that the cause is the shelling of the Armed Forces. More than two thousand Russians remained without light. In the border city of Shebekino of the Belgorod region, the substation is burning, with locals problems with electricity and water supply. This was reported by the governor of the Russian region Vyacheslav Gladkov. He also posted a photo of a fire.

According to the policy of the aggressor country, the cause of the fire was the firing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "The shells were damaged by the substation transformer," he wrote in particular. More than two thousand Russians have been disconnected from electricity. At the same time, there were no injured and affected people among the local population. Rescuers, police officers and representatives of other operational services left the scene.

The governor promised residents of settlements to restore power supply within 2-3 hours. Local publications inform that people in the city also have problems with water supply. It is reported that the failure of the water utility occurred due to emergency shutdown of electricity. However, the water is promised to give water in the next few hours. "I see a message on social networks that light or no water disappears. Almost all water intakes have felt interruptions and moved to other units.

Now the MRMK forces are switched to reserve lines," - said the governor of Belgorod region. The locals assure that the sound of "arrivals" was heard in all parts of the city. The Russian propaganda Telegram-channel Readovka writes that the firing of the station is allegedly being taken place from the Ukrainian territory of mortars. We will remind, according to the SESS, on October 10, as a result of Russian shelling, 19 Ukrainians were killed, 105 people were injured.
