"Ukraine needs more": German general urged to pass the Armed Forces fighters

Ehrhard Buler criticized the German government for the non -operative supply of ammunition and armored vehicles, combat tanks and armored personnel carriers to Ukraine. The former NATO forces in Kosovo Erhard Buler, a retired German General, stated that Ukraine needs not only air defense but also Western fighters. Bild informs about it. Buller is dissatisfied with how the German government responds to the need for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in modern weapons.

Buler emphasized that it is necessary to do more, and the decision to supply ammunition and armored vehicles, combat tanks and armored personnel carriers was made too late. The German general called for faster Western military assistance to Ukraine. He drew the attention of politicians to the importance of aircraft for the defense of Ukraine from Russian invaders. "Ukraine needs more ammunition for air defense, as well as combat aircraft," Ehrhard Buler explained.

According to the newspaper, it was not German planes, "but the American F-16, which is a lot in the world. " It is also emphasized that they have a large number of spare parts. It is because of this that the operational problems will not arise. According to him, the F-16 is "just an example". Buller considers an important aspect that Ukrainians should be able to ensure their country's safety in the long run.

We will remind, on April 24 the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba urged Europeans to provide Ukraine F-16. The Foreign Minister is convinced that EU countries are able to play leading importance in making aircraft supply to Ukrainian defenders. In his opinion, it is an opportunity for European countries to demonstrate its strategic leadership. Also, on April 13, Germany allowed Poland to send 5 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
