In the occupied Sevastopol, the drone attacked Balaklava TPP, there began a fire

The so -called governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev claims that the incident will not affect the electricity supply of Sevastopol and Crimea. The Russians built Balaklava TPP on the occupied peninsula in 2018. In the occupied Sevastopol, on the night of October 26 to October 27, the unmanned aerial vehicle attacked Balaklava TPP. The so-called governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev told about it in the Telegram-channel.

According to him, one of the transformers, who was on prevention and did not work, broke out as a result of the incident. Vivodovayev assures that at the time of arrival of rescuers at the open burning station there was no longer. "The transformer is damaged minimally. There are no victims," says Sevastopol's occupation head. Razvozhayev also claims that Russian radar protection means allegedly "knocked down" the drone from his initial trajectory, so he has not reached his goal.

The occupier stressed that the TPP incident would not affect the power supply of Sevastopol and Crimea. "There is no threat of power supply. Electricity is everywhere. Thanks to the pre -safety measures taken in advance, it was possible to avoid great losses," he commented. Balaklava TPP (or Sevastopol PSU-TT) is a steam-gas power plant in Sevastopol with a capacity of 496. 8 MW. It was built by the Russian Federation on the occupied peninsula in 2018.

The official commissioning ceremony took place in March 2019. The construction of Balaklava TPP in Sevastopol, as well as the Tavriya TPP in Simferopol, has caused an international scandal with the participation of Siemens.

As it turned out, Rostekh's Subsidiary of OJSC Technopromexport in 2015 bought four gas turbines from Siemens allegedly for a power plant on the Taman Peninsula in Russia, but as a result, she resale to another subsidiary of Rostekh - Technopromxport - for construction TPP in the occupied Crimea. As a result, in the summer of 2017, Siemens stated that the turbines were put in the occupied Crimea and called it a violation of the terms of the contract.

The concern appealed in Moscow's arbitration court contracts for the supply of turbines, but the court refused to satisfy the claim. We will remind, on October 19, the so -called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozozhayev stated that near the airfield "Belbek" was beaten by a Ukrainian drone. According to the occupier, a air defense system in the north side worked in the city. Later on the same day, the occupying power showed a whipped UAV.
