Organization of infantry brigade. What does the optimal model look like according to the experience of war?

NET Modern infantry war, mass mobilization and advantage of enemy in combat equipment require structural changes so that troops can optimally use our qualitative advantages and systemic problems of the enemy. Our benefits: 1. Higher military intelligence and motivation. 2. Qualitative advantage of the Ukrainian infantry. 3. Numerical advantage in personnel. 4. Communication, especially Starlinka. 5. Systems of automated control of troops and fire. 6.

Quantitative and qualitative advantage in optical intelligence, the number of sensors on the Boy field. 7. Logistics and provision. It is necessary to concentrate troops around personnel staffs, to strengthen personnel troops, to saturate personnel troops with quality personnel, and to give powers to commanders of brigades to make wide permutations horizontally, to study and promote sergeants and junior officers, to test them in various horizontal positions.

It is necessary to increase the ability of the units to act independently and autonomously - this requires strengthening of headquarters, logistics, intelligence and engineering in each individual battalion and mouth. And most importantly, we should not increase the number of officers and administrative units that are ineffective due to the lack of coordinated and trained troops, we need an increase in the number of sergeants, junior officers, weapons operators in the keyway unit.

The states should be filled from below, not from above. The vitality and combat capability of personnel crews is an absolute priority before the deployment of new connections. It is time to change the states and the doctrine. Therefore, I see the optimal organization of the brigade (for example, infantry) as follows: 1. Three to four mechanized battalions.

That is, "heavy" infantry battalions, which are armed with armored vehicles, mortars, heavy machine guns, work from this equipment, and which have armor to protect servicemen. They keep the borders, inflict damage to the enemy troops on the front line. 2. One or two assault battalions. Easy infantry. Perform intelligence, assault tasks, is a mobile reserve to quickly strengthen any direction. Easy infantry has weapons that wears and unbroken transport. These are also machine guns, mortars, PTRK. 3.

Intelligence battalion. The battalion of intelligence technical means is our advantage that needs to be increased. We will not be able to have the same number of military equipment, but we will be able to have an advantage in exploration and adjustment of fire. Optical chambers, drones, radio electronic intelligence, radio electronic struggle, radar stations. All this should be coordinated with the analytical unit, comparing space intelligence. 4. Engineering battalion.

The stability of troops is ensured by the presence of protective structures and masking and permanent equipment of liability strips, infantry should enter the equipped positions, or quickly receive support in the equipment. It requires technique, work hands, materials, and constant burying and creation of limits, positions, ways to constantly increase the survivability of the connection.

The engineering battalion also performs infantry tasks for the second line, that is, there may be fighters who, due to health, age, and training, may not be admitted for a long time. 5. Tank battalion. The main operational unit of tank troops should be the tank company, according to the standard structure of NATO - USA and Germany armies, in 14 tanks. The tank battalion should be organized with its own security, intelligence and sappers to be able to act on your own.

Tank units must be provided with backup crews in order to be able to work intensively and have prepared personnel. How many such mouths in the battalion - depends on the amount of equipment, it is not the amount, but the complete serviceability. Fighting should be ensured by the availability of repair and maintenance units. 6. Brigade artillery group, division or artillery battalion (as they are organized in NATO). All artillery units of the caliber 105–155 mm.

The main operational unit of artillery should be separate batteries that have support and provision for autonomous actions. The availability of divisions is not needed, NATO armies work batteries, time and us to switch to the same states - batteries from 6-8 guns. The artillery unit should also prepare reserve calculations. 7. Training battalion. Battalion, which is responsible for the combat training of recruits, for the protection of the rear, bases.

For the rule of law in the area of ​​responsibility. For the preparation of sergeants. For the completeness of combat units. And yet it is an additional battalion headquarters, which is also periodically rotated on the front, that is, we provide exchanging experience and high combat capability.

The training battalion should be as permanent, and the variable warehouse, where the servicemen who serve from the advanced to preparation, vacation, keeps all the administrative accounting of the military who are derived to the rear temporarily from the performance of combat missions from their staff units. Complex provision, food, transport, repair, logistics, materials, equipment, all this significantly increases the combat capability of troops, quality logistics produces significant results. 9. Anti-aircraft mission. 10. Anti -tank division. Long -range anti -tank missile systems should be used focused, maneuvering on the whole front. 11. Medical mouth. Of particular importance is the saturation of troops on the front crews that provide the "golden hour" of evacuation.

This greatly enhances combat capability. 12. Communication and automated control. One of the key units that provides network -centric warfare technology. Should be in number and position more. 13. Staff. In my opinion, this structure will significantly improve all aspects of combat use. Thus, the number of the team will increase to the size of the division - about 10-12 thousand fighters.

But people have people - our main resource, and our task to give them the most professional management, organization, use to carry out proper breeding for each unit, quickly rearrange people to those positions that they have ability and inclination, prepare , nurture. We no longer have a professional army - but a mass mobilized army, and we have to take into account new challenges.
