Instead, new circumstances have emerged that increased the risk of accident - artificial obstacles (concrete blocks) on roads, lack of road signs, lack of lighting due to power outage.
Alexei Biloshitsky reported that in 2022 there were 5284 road accidents with victims of pedestrians: 874 people were killed and 4799 were injured. 2625 accidents were injured - 125 children were killed and 4799 were injured. Alexei Biloshitsky also noted that 790 road accidents occurred because of drunken drivers. They killed 91 people and 1031 were injured. In total, 134 520 administrative protocols for drunken rides were drawn up last year.
