The Russians were installed on a visor armored vehicle to protect against UAVs, ...

The Armed Forces drone struck a rare BTR-80 with rocket installations: What are they dangerous (video)

The Russians were installed on a visor armored vehicle to protect against UAVs, but it did not help because of the high skill of the operator. The soldiers of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of drones-Kamikadze blew an unusual Russian BTR-80. The video on Telegram was posted by Toro drone manufacturers. Airborne intelligence from the 72nd brigade noticed two Russian cars that moved on the road and took positions in the forest belt.

One of them was a moped with a mangal-boiled man-made to protect against UAVs-she was decided not to spend ammunition. But the second goal was more interesting, and clearly valuable, operators made it strikes with two FPV-Drons of Toro with cumulative charges. Judging by the video, the second drone flew from below and exploded under the bottom, causing significant damage to the Russian technique, because it detonated the ammunition.

The military and drone suppliers themselves were unable to determine the type of weapons, but the network users found it very similar to the BTR-80 with a pair of UB-32 installations, which shoot unmanaged C-8 aircraft missiles, probably they who flew after the explosion. You can see the so -called "barbecue" from above, which was helpless before the skill of the Ukrainian pilot.

According to Defense Express, recently the Russians began to put on the BTR-80 two blocks of UB-32 and cover them with "visors" to protect against blows from above. Analysts suggest that Russian engineers are trying to reproduce the class "Aerall's Fighting Machines" (Boman) and launch C-8 missiles to indicate the purpose of combat aircraft.

According to researchers, in the USSR they managed to produce from 20 to 50 such machines, given the experience of war in Afghanistan, and in the 1990s they were disposed of or preserved. In 2019, the Russians reported plans to produce a buman based on the Tiger armored vehicles, but it is unknown whether they were able to implement this pranks in practice. Earlier, they wrote that the toro drones were supplied by the White Church to military volunteers.
