Falling is ongoing: sales of new cars in the Russian Federation collapsed four times

The sale of cars in Russia has been falling for five months in a row. Market experts predict that a radical improvement in the situation should not be expected in the near future. The car market continues to demonstrate the fall. In July, 35 583 new cars were sold, which is four times less than in the same period last year (then 141 456 cars were sold). Such data is provided by the Avtostat Agency.

Against June, cars in Russia have increased slightly (by 9%), which is most likely due to the production of simplified LADA versions without ABS and airbags. VAZ is the market leader with an indicator of 10 400 cars sold. A sharp decrease in sales was demonstrated by almost all brands. It was the largest in BMW --94. 3%.
