The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carry 100mm MT-12 anti-tank guns known as "rapier". It is a Soviet smooth -bore weapon that is towed. It was created in the early 1960s. According to the channel, rations want to be used to defend the western coast of Crimea. The guns are placed in the second line, a few kilometers from the trenches dug on the beaches.
And on Thursday, March 13, the Crimean Wind reported that a column of six military trucks with MT-12 guns in the body traveled the Black Sea route and turned towards the Rozdolny. MT-12 guns can shoot shrapnel-fugitive ammunition. The invaders can use them as field artillery to defeat land targets from closed positions.
It should be reminded that the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov stated on April 14 that the APU would apply any weapons allowed by international legislation to release Ukrainian Crimea. The Ukrainian military, he said, is already working out new types of weapons that can be used potentially during the liberation of Crimea. The digging of the trenches on the peninsula will not help them, Danilov says.
