The Chairman of the Committee Vyacheslav Timchenko noted that they plan to discuss and consider "laws on the integration of new entities of the Russian Federation", namely the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
"At the meeting on February 22, it is planned to consider the laws on the integration of new regions into the legal field of the Russian Federation, which should be approved by March 1," the politician said. Earlier, the meetings wanted to hold March 1, but it was decided to postpone it on February 22, since it was allegedly needed to "promptly consider two important laws for the country", as reported by propagandists.
It is worth noting that under the temporary occupation now the territories of Zaporizhzhya, Lugansk, Donetsk and Kherson regions, which consider their own in the Kremlin. At the end of September last year, a "referendum" was held, after which "documents" on land entry into the Russian Federation was signed. The international community does not recognize these changes and considers the territories, as before, part of Ukraine.
