The People's Deputy of Ukraine from the party "European Solidarity" and Exglav Majlis Mustafa Dzhemilev told this in an interview with Crimea. According to him, Putin suggested Erdogan to refuse to participate in the platform in exchange for expanding the flow of tourists and trade. However, the leader of Turkey refused him. "And Erdogan says: there (in Crimea - ed) my relatives live, then I will tell them that I was exchanging them for tourists? quotes the words of Erdogan Mustafa Dzhemilev.
He also said that countries such as Nigeria and the Republic of Congo had to participate in the Crimean Platform summit, but at the last moment they refused. Ghana was also going to participate, then stated in the country that for technical reasons they would not be able to attend, but join the final document, which would be approved. Dzhemilev noted that the participation of these countries is also important because Russia tried to refuse everyone, "until blackmail and threats.
" We will remind, on August 23 Recep Erdogan during a speech at the Summit of the Crimean Platform stated that international law requires Crimea to return to Ukraine. The President of Turkey noted that the Russian-Ukrainian war should end with a fair peace on the basis of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Earlier, on August 18, during a meeting with Zelensky in Lviv, Erdogan suggested that the President of Ukraine meet with the Russian leader.
