Almost every seventh: only 3,800 ATMs work in Ukraine after the shelling - the NBU

According to the regulator, the banking system of the country continues to work stable, and clients can still make non -cash payments. In Ukraine, about 3,800 ATMs operate after the missile strokes of the Russian Federation and lighting off. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine.

In particular, the state regulator assures that the banking system of Ukraine, despite the mass shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and shutdown of light, continues to work stable. As of 5:30 pm, about 3,800 ATMs and more than 1,500 banking units operated in Kyiv time. "Payment cards are serviced, non -cash payments operate in a regular mode. Citizens are provided to their funds, in particular through ATMs and cash desks of working banking branches.

The National Bank is ready to promptly support the banks in cash as needed," the state regulator said. The National Bank also noted that Ukrainians can check information about working ATMs and branches on sites or on social networks. This information, according to the State Regulator, will be updated promptly.

It is worth noting that in August, the National Bank published a press release dedicated to the functioning of the banking system of Ukraine in the conditions of a full -scale war and constant missile strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. According to the regulator, about 6000 banking branches operated in the country in the summer. Moreover, the total number of ATMs operating in Ukraine was 28. 2 thousand, most of which belonged to the state "PrivatBank".
