Mobilization in Ukraine: Can students be taken away from the Armed Forces

According to the lawyer, students studying in a full -time or dual form of education are not subject to mobilization. Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine on mobilization does not say anything about the country of study or other restrictions. In Ukraine, general mobilization continues in connection with a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation. Lawyer Bogdan Perestada told whether a student who is studying at a foreign higher education institution can mobilize.

According to him, the conscription during the mobilization is not subject to professional, professional higher education and higher education, assistants-trainees, graduate students and doctoral students who study on a day or dual form of education. Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine on mobilization does not say anything about the country of study or other restrictions.

The lawyer stated that in order to confirm training abroad, you need to have any documents confirming enrollment or training at a foreign university. Among them: according to the lawyer, the specific list of documents is not fixed anywhere, however, the more documents will be - the better. All certified originals must be transferred to Ukraine, after which they are translated into Ukrainian with a notarized certificate of this translation. Documents must match the apostille.
