Will increase the number: Putin has signed a decree on spring conscription to the army (document)

The Presidential Decree states that from April 1 to July 15, 147,000 people plan to call the service. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on spring call. The corresponding document was published on March 30 on the official portal of the Russian Federation. According to the text of Putin's decree, the call for conscript service begins on April 1, 2023 and will last until July 15, 2023. During this period, 147 thousand people are planning to be called.

The document refers to the release of soldiers, sailors, sergeants and officers who have expired. "The Government of the Russian Federation, executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation and conscription commissions take measures related to the call for military service," the presidential decree reads. It should be noted that the previous call began on November 1, 2022 and lasted until December 31, 2022.
