"Need Constructive approach": Erdogan spoke with Putin about solving the grain crisis

The Turkish President had a telephone conversation with the Kremlin. Erdogan expressed his hope that the parties would "cooperate" to resolve the situation with the transportation of grain from Ukraine. Turkish President Recep Taiip Erdogan has a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. They discussed the situation with the grain agreement and the removal of grain from the Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea.

About it reports the Turkish Agency Anadolu with reference to the presidential press service. According to the conversation, the leaders of the two states discussed the events of Russia's war against Ukraine. Erdogan, in particular, stated that Turkey was trying to solve problems related to the implementation of the Istanbul Agreement on Grain Supply (the so -called grain agreement). The Turkish President expressed confidence that all parties would be able to establish communication.

According to Erdogan, if Ukraine, Western partners and Russia are able to solve the grain crisis with the help of a "constructive approach", then it will allow Kiev and Moscow to return to the issue of peace talks. We will remind, Russia has stated that it does not intend to execute the passage of ships through the grain corridor and considers the Black Sea in a zone of fighting. Moscow is said to not allow vessels without inspection.
