The State Bureau of Investigation conducts an "audit" hidden from customs clearance of 133 containers at the Odessa customs. One of them revealed Mi-8 helicopter. This was reported by the DBR press service. The Mi-2 multi-purpose helicopter has been stored in the container since 2007.

"He could have completed combat missions for eight months of war, but the customs was in no hurry to register," the DBR commented. The owners of the vehicle and the circumstances of its movement are now being installed. The security forces have already removed the helicopter and prepare it for transfer to the needs of the Armed Forces.

"There will also be a legal assessment of the actions of customs officials, who in the conditions of full -scale aggression of Russia against Ukraine have not taken any steps to customs the helicopter in a timely manner," the statement reads. According to the Prosecutor General's office, 138 containers with different groups of goods under customs control have been stored at the Odessa Customs for more than 180 days.

According to the law, customs officers had to take them on their balance sheet to earn income in favor of the state. However, the Odesa customs did not take such measures. Canned food, alcohol, sewing machines, cars, sports equipment and shoes were also found during searches of container terminals. All the property found will be transferred to the Agency and Assets Management (ARMA). Currently, security forces have recorded damage to the state in the amount of UAH 300 million.

The investigation continues. We will remind, the Security Service of Ukraine detained its employee, who worked in the General Directorate of the SBU in Kiev and the region. The detainee demanded that the entrepreneur money for closing the case, which had nothing to do with. Earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported that ten former police officers of the Chuguev police department announced suspicion of treason.
