According to preliminary data of the investigation, several dozen servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are responsible for committing a war crime against the civilian population of Ukraine. The SBU named a number of names: at least 40 people were killed in a multi -storey residential building in the Dnieper, including 3 children. Investigators of the department, examining the scene, previously confirmed that the enemy was hit by a rocket X-22.
Experts will conduct several more examinations, after which the military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will announce the suspicion of committing a particularly serious crime against Ukraine. The SBU initiated criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of the laws and customs of war. This will allow to gather and summarize the evidence of a criminal attack by the Russian Federation.
"Every military crime of the Russians has a specific executor. The security service will establish and publish the data of all by name - so that no killer would escape the punishment," - said the SBU chairman Vasyl Malyuk. According to him, each of those Russian soldiers who are somehow involved in committing crimes against the population of Ukraine should expect a minute to pay for a minute.
