We all have to force Russia to admit that the inviolability of borders and peace are unconditional values ​​for all peoples - a speech of the President of Ukraine at a meeting of the UN Security Council

Thank you very much for the opportunity, for the support! Congratulations on independent and free Ukraine! But from Ukraine, which is still forced to fight for its freedom against Russian terror. As soon as you go to make this appeal, I got information that a Russian rocket stroke in the Dnipropetrovsk region, at the railway station, just on the cars at the Chaplin station . . . Four passenger cars burn . . . As of at least 15 people, about 50 were killed now . Rescuers work.

But, unfortunately, the death toll may increase. So we live daily. So Russia prepared for this meeting of the UN Security Council. Ladies and Gentlemen! Mr. Head! Mr. Secretary General! Dear members of the UN Security Council - all those who respect and execute the UN Statute! Today, our state celebrates the main national holiday - Independence Day. And now you all see how much in the world is related to the independence of our country.

It is for the fact that in peace Ukraine, or our people, whether the integrity of our territory and the inviolability of our borders are guaranteed. You can take any aspect of the terrible war that Russia has solved against us, and in every such aspect will be the roots of a particular global crisis. What is happening right now? Russia has put the world on the border of a radiation disaster.

It is a fact that the Russian military made the territory of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe - the Zaporozhye Nuclear Station - a zone of war. It's a fact. Due to the armed provocations of Russia, through shelling, through the deployment of terrorists under the Russian flag, all Europe and all neighboring regions are threatened with radiation pollution. It's a fact. Who among you forgot what Chornobyl is? The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Station is six reactors. One reactor exploded in Chornobyl.

The IAEA mission should take the situation at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Station as soon as possible, and Russia should stop nuclear blackmail without any conditions and completely release the station. Russia put the world on the border of unprecedented famine. It is a fact that the Russian blockade of Ukrainian ports on the Black and Azov Seas has increased the deficit in the food market, which was already destabilized.

And this is against the backdrop of a terrible climatic situation in different parts of the planet - which is worth the drought only in Europe, the largest in 500 years. Fortunately, we managed to reach the conditions under which Russia was forced to accept the conditions of the international community, and thanks to this grain export of three Ukrainian ports was restored. This already relieves part of the tension in the food market, but does not completely relieve the threat.

Only a full restoration of Ukrainian agrarian exports without any obstacles can be a guarantee that tens of millions of people around the world will have something to eat. And does it be indignant that even now, in the 21st century, you have to fight to save tens of millions of people in different countries from artificial famine, it is the artificial famine that provoked one state with its crazy aggression? And that is also a fact. Ukrainians are indignant.

Not for this, they created the UN to discuss what had been staying in the past in the 21st century. But I thank the UN Secretary General, Mr. Guterrry, and Turkey, Mr. President, and all other honest subjects of international relations that are fighting the food crisis, which is responsible for only Russia. And in the coming weeks we have to do everything to expand the current grain export initiative. We take another aspect - energy.

It is a fact that Russia is consciously trying to bring tens of millions of people to energy poverty. To deprive them of normal access to basic goods, consciously twisting energy prices. And this is done by a permanent member of the UN Security Council, which still has the privilege of veto! Energy crisis for Europe, the threat of large -scale famine, political chaos for Africa and Asia, the price crisis for the whole world.

Isn't there too much to be one of the state whose representative sits among you? And I will mention another aspect is values. Yes, in fact, we have to be honestly about what in different parts of the world they are differently perceived what values ​​are. They look at it differently. But everywhere in the world of life has value. Peace has value. Economic well -being has value. All states, if they respect themselves and their people, punish for murder and do not honor the executioners.

However, we see that there is a state that not only behaves differently, but which is proud of what behaves differently. She rewards the murderers, encourages the executioners. And this is not only a threat to Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainians are killed by Russian invaders. Dozens of our cities are destroyed by Russian artillery. Russia does not adhere to the basic conventions of prisoners of war. This was also discussed today.

The conscious murder of our prisoners of war in Olenovka has become one of the worst pages in Europe's history. And the UN mission to establish facts in Olenivka, whose mandate must be extended to all Ukrainian prisoners, which is now being held by Russian forces, is immediately required. There is no such war crime that Russian invaders in our independent state would not yet commit.

But if you do not stop Russia now in Ukraine, if it is not stopped by Ukraine's victory, then all these Russian killers will inevitably be in other countries. Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America - there are already traces of Russian military criminals, and we all have to unite and act as decisively as possible so that there are no traces of Russian missiles burned by Russian artillery anywhere else.

In order to never have a threat to a radiation disaster, Russia must liberate the captured territory of Ukraine. In order for the food crisis to be never again, Russia must come out of our Earth and our sea. In order for no state to neglect the UN Charter and compulsory for all humanity with conventions, without exception for all, Russia must be held accountable for a crime of aggression against Ukraine. The relevant resolution will be submitted to the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

In order for the sense of justice to return to international relations again, we must all confirm and force Russia to admit that the inviolability of borders and peace are unconditional values ​​for all peoples. That is why the independence and integrity of our country are fundamental to international relations.

The preservation of our independence, guaranteeing our safety, returning normal economic ties with Ukraine will regain the true force of the UN Charter and save the world from the crises that we are all forced to worry now. Mr. Secretary -General, Dear Anthony Guterres has an ambitious intention next year to organize a summit of the future. We support this intention.

And we emphasize that to build the future, we need to leave on the landfill of history what always prevented humanity from living in peace, namely: aggression and colonial ambitions. That is, what Russia came to Ukraine. And I believe that we will really be able to build the future. It would be very good and symbolic so that such a summit could happen in Ukraine.

Because it is in our territory, in the territory of Ukraine, now decides whether the future will be at all, whether there will be a future in the world at all. This is solved at the Zaporozhye NPP, our seaports, Donbass, and Crimea. Our independence is your safety. The safety of the entire free world.
