Because of this, it was impossible to feed chickens and maintain a sanitary regime, which led to mass extinction of animals. "During the inspection on the territory of the poultry farm, the burial place of the dead bird was found - a ditch 3 meters deep and an area of 1 880 m square," - said in the prosecutor's office.
Law enforcement officers also clarified that they took the samples for research, because due to the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation there is a threat of bacterial contamination of a large area. It is known that the investigation is being carried out under Art. 441 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (ecocide). Then the owner spoke of the threat of mass extinction of birds through hunger: the shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation led not only to the disconnection of the poultry farm, but also the inability to bring the animal feed for animals. Then it was a separate problem to remove or dispose of finished products. In this regard, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy was forced to make a memorandum with the Association "Union of Birds of Ukraine", aimed at stabilizing egg prices.
