Kremlin propaganda - all: Russian residents refuse to watch TV

Russian citizens "switched" from television to the Internet. Some channels of the country have lost almost 10% of viewers after the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine. Fewer Russian residents believe in Russian propaganda. Since the beginning of the full -time invasion of the territory of Ukraine, the coverage of Russian TV channels has fallen on average by a quarter. A large number of people went to the Internet, reports the Russian Research Holding "Romir".

For example, the first channel was watched by 33. 7% of Russians before the Russo-Ukrainian War, and 25. 5% in July. 23% of the population instead of 30. 9%, as it was before the attack on Ukraine. NTV coverage fell from 21. 1% to 16. 6%. The residents of Russia "switched" to the Internet. The audience that reads news in Telegram channels increased from 19. 1% to 26. 8%. It is likely that the main criterion for the transition from television to the Internet was the reduction of entertainment content.

Much of this fall has been in the summer months. During this period, the views fall most often. The holding noted that the real figures are much lower than those above. Earlier it was reported that two online editions of Bellingcat and The Insider, specializing in journalistic investigations, have been on the list of "unwanted organizations" in Russia.

The Prosecutor General's Office has recognized the activity of these publications undesirable, as it allegedly threatens the foundations of constitutional order and security. Russia has expanded its list of sanctions on UK citizens. In particular, it included journalists of the leading media of Britain - Times, BBC, Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Economist, Sun, ITV and Sky News. We also informed that the propagandist from the DNR headed the Tavriya TV channel created in occupied Kherson.
