Rosatom handed over a plan of reconnection of the station to the Crimea, which is now being implemented by the occupied by Russian troops. This was stated by President of NAEK Energoatom Petro Kotin, Interfax-Ukraine reports. “In fact, from Thursday (August 4, - Ed. ) We have a deterioration of the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP.

It began with the fact that Rosatom staff transferred to the station a special reconnection program to Crimea, and the first condition of this program was in fact severe damage to the station lines with the energy system of Ukraine, ”Kotin said. According to him, it is this scenario that has been realized for the last three days, when Russian invaders have damaged three power lines.

Currently, the station operates with one power output line, which is an extremely dangerous mode of operation of the NPP. As the chairman of Energoatom explained, in order to switch to the Crimea, the invaders need to be completely disconnected and occupied parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions.

“This is what is spelled out in the program, and after all this is deactivated, they begin to heal the regions from the substation in Dzhanka, then gradually reach Kakhovskaya and from it to heal the Zaporozhye NPP. And after that, it will no longer be possible to connect to the Ukrainian power system - it will remain at the Russian frequency, ”Kotin said. In this case, the period from the moment of defect will be the most dangerous for her, he emphasized.

“This is their plan, and they began to implement it. However, at the time when the regions are completely repaid and the NPP is disconnected, it is the most dangerous mode for it. Because all 20 diesel generators at the Zaporizhzhya NPP will turn on, and if there are any refusal of this equipment, it will threaten the melting of active areas of the reactor, ”the head of Energoatom summarized.

As he supplemented, the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP is already close to the Japanese Fukushima-1 Transfer in 2011. “At the ZPP, we from this first stage Fukushima-1 is very close, because there is only one line. As soon as it switches off, the station will switch to the diesel, and then it will all depend on the reliability of their work and the sufficiency of the fuel that is there for diesel at the ZPP, ”Kotin stated.
