Estonia will close the entry for Russians with Visas since August 18

The decision will not affect Russian diplomats and their families, as well as international trade workers. And students from the Russian Federation who did not have time to finish their studies will allow to continue their permission for one year. The Estonian Government has made a decision according to which Russian citizens will not be able to visit the country for tourism, culture, sports and business.

About it reports the Russian Agency "Interfax" with reference to the statement of the Government of Estonia of August 12. According to the department, the decision means that the citizens of the Russian Federation, which Estonia has issued a Schengen visa to visit the country with the above goals, will not be able to enter the country through the Russian-Estonian border, in particular, in the border crossings of Narva, Luhamama or Koidula.

At the same time, Estonia will miss Russians who have received a visa of another Schengen country or are already in Estonia. Citizens of the Russian Federation who come to visit a citizen of Estonia or a close relative living in the country will be able to apply for Estonian Schengen Visa. Also, new restrictions will not affect the diplomats of the Russian Federation, members of their families, workers in the field of international trade and those involved in passenger transportation.
