Zelensky increased the military budget by almost 400 billion hryvnias: what money will go

In general, expenditures of the state budget increase from UAH 2. 65 trillion to UAH 3. 04 trillion. Ukraine increases the costs of the security and defense sector by UAH 387 billion. The corresponding changes to the state budget law were signed by President Vladimir Zelensky. The document states that the costs will increase: it should be noted that it is already 8 amendments in the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022 from the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia.

In general, expenditures of the state budget increase from UAH 2. 65 trillion to UAH 3. 04 trillion, and the marginal volume of deficit - from 1. 11 trillion to 1. 50 trillion. Recall that in 2023 Ukraine plans to allocate 50% of the total budget for the defense and security sector, another 35% will go to the social sphere, medicine and education. All other costs will be reduced.
