They knocked down two drones of the Russian Army: the military explained the explosions near Chernihiv

It is assumed that Ukrainians have deprived the opponent of two more reconnaissance UAVs "Orlan". On Independence Day, August 24, the Ukrainian military knocked down two Russian drones over the Chernihiv region. This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the operational command "North". The military noted that during the day in the region seven times declared air and missile anxiety.

The locals heard the sounds of explosions, but these were not "arrivals" of enemy rockets, but the work of air defense. The Armed Forces fighters managed to knock down two enemy UAVs at about 15:30 and 17:00, both fell a few kilometers from Chernihiv. It is assumed that whipped devices belong to the family of "Orlan", which the Russian army uses for intelligence, observation and artillery to Ukrainian positions.

Another drone of the same type was struck by the defenders of Ukraine in the Shostkin district of Sumy region. In general, Russian troops fired at the Chernihiv and Sumy regions eight times eight times. Earlier they wrote that the Armed Forces were knocked down by a rare Russian drone "Cartographer" in the southeastern part of Ukraine. This UAV model resembles "eagles", but has a more advanced optical module with 12 cameras.
