The Kremlin does not know at what borders it "annexed" Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions - Peskov

The borders of the two Ukrainian regions in the Russian Federation depend "only on the will of people", Putin spokesman said. The Kremlin does not have information about the limits of the Russian Federation of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya region, the resolution of this issue depends on "only on the will of people" living in these territories. This is evidenced by the statement of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov in a comment to RIA Novosti.

"I will say in a less legal language: LNR, DNR borders of 2014 (administrative borders of Lugansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine - ed. ), Kherson and Zaporizhzhia we will continue to consult with the population of these areas," Peskov said. The Kremlin representative also noted that in any case, the issue of borders of the two regions will "depend only on the will of people who live" there, but as in Moscow they intend to consult with them Putin's press secretary did not specify.

At the same time, Peskov added that the Kremlin does not plan to carry out new pseudo -referendums or surveys of residents of the regions. We will remind, at the Kremlin ceremony on September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the annexation of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions following the results of fake referendums conducted by the occupiers in these regions.
