Nuclear weapons in Belarus: To whom Putin is actually threatening

"All Putin's propaganda horror stories are the birth of his fear of supplying a new Western weapon for Ukraine. This is what they really fear in the Kremlin. " Opinion. Putin announced the placement of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. Thus, it continues to blackmail the event with the ability to use nuclear weapons. That is why it is about the placement of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus. It is a hint that these weapons can be used not only against Ukraine but also in Western countries.

But at the same time there is a hint of readiness to trade. Putin assures that to place this weapon without breach of obligations under a contract for restricting strategic offensive weapons. We will remind that Putin himself a month ago stated that Russia ceases to participate in this treaty. This is a favorite Putin style - it is threatening and traded at the same time. However, all these tricks of the Kremlin dictator no longer work.

Another threat of Putin - Russia in the next three years intends to produce and modernize more than 1600 tanks in total. Recall that three days ago the former "fun king" of Russia Dmitry Medvedev stated that this year Russia will make 1500 tanks. Apparently, it said it drunk, confusing both the volume and timing of production. Most likely, Putin reported this confusion. The Kremlin chief had to correct his clown. Not a year later, but three, and not to do as to "modernize".

And what do they intend to modernize? It is about old Soviet tanks. And not only about T-62, but about the long-written off T-54 and T-55, which the Soviet Union produced after the Second World War. This is the "comedy" about Putin and Medvedev's tanks. And a little more about tanks and numbers. Putin promises an additional 1600 tanks for the Russian army in three years.

But for 13 months of the Great War against Ukraine, Russia has already lost 3580 tanks, that is, twice as much as Putin plans to do in three years. Putin is a huge advantage in aviation. Unfortunately, there is such a problem. And it has happened historically. So we need battle aircraft. But for some reason, the non -built king of Russia forgot to mention that Russian aviation is afraid to fly into the Ukrainian territory, except for individual frontier areas.

For the most part, Russian planes attack rockets from their territory. And why is it afraid? Because more than 300 aircraft and almost 300 helicopters have already lost. The Ukrainian air defense system is becoming more powerful. So there is something to be afraid of Russian military. Putin scares his "horror stories" not by Ukrainians, but by Western politicians. It is frightened by the continuation and escalation of the war against Ukraine.
