The diplomat suggested consulting with the Kremlin.
"We will study the provisions of our legislation, we will probably discuss in the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as with our colleagues in Russia in order to determine how to act further," - said Nadia Pandor in a comment to media representatives. The Reuters publication of March 19 states that in the South African Republic "they are aware of their legal obligations" in connection with the issuance of the Putin's ISS arrest.
At the same time, the spokesman of President of South Africa Vincent Magvenya noted that his country will interact with various "interested parties" by Brix Summit. The publication also noted that the authorities of South Africa refrain from condemning the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
