Attempted to improve high-precision missiles failed: In the Armed Forces on the upgrading of the Russians X-101

"Upgraded" Russian missiles are increasingly falling into the territory of the Russian Federation, without reaching Ukraine, in the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The modernization of the winged X-101 rocket did not meet Russia's expectations. This was stated by a representative of the Trophy and Prospective Weapons and Military equipment of the Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel Mykola Danylyuk at a briefing at the Military Media Center.

According to him, the results of the conducted researches and statistics of the Ukrainian air defense system indicate that the latter modernization of the cruise missile X-101 did not live up to the expectations of the Russian Federation. "There is no mass breakthrough of the air defense system. An attempt to improve the so -called" high -precision "weapons failed," said Colonel Mykola Danylyuk.

He also added that Russian missiles are increasingly falling in the Russian Federation without reaching Ukraine. Recall that on February 13, the speaker of the Armed Forces Command Yuri Ignat reported that the Russians began to use high-precision winged missiles less often, in particular, it was about X-101 and Iskander. According to him, the invaders realized that they could harm energy infrastructure with the help of C-300 shells, which are sufficient in the Russian Federation.
