Gennady Korban is not related to the defense of the Dnieper: the Armed Forces gave clarification

The politician is not a serviceman and does not hold any management positions in the structure of territorial defense forces - according to the official response of the Head of Regional Directorate "East" TRO of the Armed Forces, reports the D1 TV channel. Gennady Korban is not the head of the United Territorial Defense Headquarters of Dnipropetrovsk. The politician does not serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and does not hold any leadership positions in the army.

This is stated in the response of the head of the regional department of territorial defense forces "East" Colonel Valery Kurach at the request of the director of the TV and Radio Company "Region" Mykola Pavlenko.

"During the reflection of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, a United Territorial Defense Headquarters was established in the Dnipropetrovsk region on the basis of the Headquarters of the Regional Directorate of Forces of the TRO" East "of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which consists of identified officials from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, National Guard of Ukraine, National Guard Police of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine and other components of security forces and forces of defense, - said in the document.

The appeal states the alleged expirer of the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration is the "head of the Dnieper territorial defense headquarters", which, as it turned out, is not true. The authors of the letter also emphasize that "the contribution of Gennady Korban to the Protection of Ukraine . . . is significant and undeniable.

" 123 people signed the address: dozens of mayors of Ukrainian cities (including Vitaliy Klitschko), public opinion leaders, volunteers, human rights defenders, athletes and entrepreneurs. This was motivated by the Presidential Decree on the deprivation of Korban of Ukrainian citizenship.
