Cover with a grid-rob: the State Duma of the Russian Federation called a new way of combating the "drones of the Armed Forces"

According to MP Anatoly Wasserman, the Russian air defense system is not sensitive enough to record small objects. In Russia, the issue of wrapping of oil tanks and other similar objects is considered to protect against unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the deputy of the State Duma Anatoly Wasserman in an interview with Rostovgazeta newspaper. The deputy said that the Russian air defense system lacks sensitivity in order to record small objects, including drones.

According to him, work is now underway to solve this problem. "But these developments, unfortunately, are very far from completing. The main problem is that highly sensitive locators can be too suspicious and respond even to birds," Wasserman says. The State Duma Representative also stated that the attacks of "drones of the Armed Forces" allegedly could not cause significant damage.

At the same time, he acknowledged that in the case of contact of the drone with the object, such as an oil tank, the result can be "catastrophic". "The issue of wrapping such objects is now being considered. After the Kremlin building was attacking two drones on May 3, the UAV was engaged in the fight against UAV. Thus, in Moscow, a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles without special permission was prohibited. The violation of the ban is threatened with criminal liability.

Such restrictions later spread to about 40 Russian regions. The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Alexei Zhuravlev in response to "drones attack" on the Kremlin proposed to form a squadron of eagle echoes to protect important infrastructure. The Russian media also reported that in Moscow there were failures in GPS after the UAV attack on the Kremlin. According to police, a change in the GPS location will be activated in the capital during May 9 preparation.
