According to journalists, recently officials of the United States have warned Ukrainian colleagues that they do not have unnecessary army tactical missile systems. At the same time, Ukraine is considering bypasses to obtain ATACMS missiles, including buying them from advice. US Presidential Administration Joe Biden told the authorities of Ukraine that Washington would not be able to supply ATACMS long -range missiles.

The reason is a shortage of shells, in the White House they are concerned that this amount is not enough to meet their needs. About it writes Politico with a reference to four sources. According to journalists, recent meetings in the Pentagon have declared officials of Ukraine that they did not have unnecessary army tactical missile systems.

The Ministry of Defense believes that the transfer of ATACMS to the front will reduce US reserves and undermine the readiness of the US Armed Forces for future fighting. In addition, the US authorities are worried that the Armed Forces will use long range missiles to the task of blows deep into Russia, which threatened that such a result will mean the transition of the "red border" from the United States.

The American official said that Washington wants to maintain a certain level of long -range ammunition in American warehouses. However, he noted that there are also "other ways" to give the Ukrainian army strikes for Russian purposes. "For any package, we always take into account our readiness and our own reserves, while giving Ukraine what it needs on the battlefield. There are other ways to provide Ukraine with the opportunities necessary for the task of strikes for purposes," he said.

At the same time, Ukraine is considering bypasses to obtain ATACMS missiles. The Ukrainian authorities may invite Washington's approval to acquire such shells from a union country using US military funding. South Korea, Poland, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Qatar and Bahrain have rockets of this type. ATCMS - solid fuel tactical ballistic missile "Earth - Earth" with a range of up to 300 km. Its different equipment variants are named: Mgm-140, Mgm-164 and Mgm-168.
