Not only the parliamentary majority but also the Opposition forces of the Netherlands are supported by the Patriott complexes. The House of Representatives of the Netherlands Parliament supports the supply of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. On Tuesday, January 17, during a visit to US President Joe Baiden, Prime Minister Mark Rutte said the Netherlands was planning to send Patriot and Germany to Ukraine. This is stated in the material of the NOS TV and Radio Company.

According to Rutte, the agreements on the supply of this type of weapons have not yet been completed, but are already under development, journalists say. "It will be another assistance to Ukraine in its protection against Russia. It is not quite clear what the Cabinet of Ministers wants to do, but the wide parliamentary majority generally supports this plan," the publication said. In addition to the parliamentary majority, most opposition also supports this initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Speaking on NOS, one of the deputies mentioned a recent Russian rocket attack on an apartment building in the Dnieper, which killed dozens of people. In this regard, he stated that Ukraine has to be constantly defending against Russian rocket strikes, so Patriot systems can make an important contribution to the country's defense.
