Two SBU Expreers help Russia with cyberrataks against Ukraine - DBR (photo)

The suspects were on the side of the enemy in 2014 after the occupation of the Crimea and since then they have been assisted by the FSB, cooperating with the participants of the criminal hacker group "Armageddon". Two former SBU staff, who are currently working on the FSB, are accused of treason - they help the Russian Federation to carry out cyberattacks on Ukrainian information systems. Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed a pre -trial investigation against them.

The investigation found that in 2014 the export workers of the service were betrayed, moved to the enemy's side and joined the FSB of the FSB. The collaborators had skills in counterintelligence in the field of information security of Ukraine and helped hostile special services to carry out subversive activities against Ukraine. The FSBvts cooperated with the criminal hacker group "Armageddon".

They were attacking computers and automated systems of central state authorities of Ukraine, which led to the leakage and distortion of information and routing in the interests of Russian special services. "Former SBU staff are accused of treason (under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and unauthorized interference with the work of electronic computers (computers) and automated systems (Part 2 of Article 361 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
