According to the head of Donetsk Ova Pavel Kirilenko, consumers of deprived of energy supply of the Pokrovsky district are already transferred to alternative networks. And energy is promised - repair work will begin after the shelling. Today, on April 2, the Kurakhiv thermal power plant in Donetsk region was disrupted as a result of intense shelling. This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavel Kirilenko.

"As a result of the shelling of the Russian occupation troops, the Kurakhiv TPP violated the power supply to 3 110 kV power grids, which provide electricity supply to the Pokrovsky district," Kirilenko reports. According to him, there was also a break within 10 minutes in the power supply of Kramatorsk energy - now the restoration has already been made. "Consumers of the Pokrovsky district are now being reincarnated to alternative power supply networks.

As of 16:00, subscribers are already being connected," he said. Information on damage at the station, previously without victims, was also confirmed on the official website of DTEK. "The station's equipment was damaged due to the attack, which resulted in the TPP stopped electricity. After the firing, energy will be able to start elimination of the effects of attack and restoration of equipment," the company reports.

According to the department, since the beginning of energy terror, Ukrainian TPPs DTEK have been attacked 30 times. Through shelling, 3 DTEK workers were killed and 28 were injured. At the end of February 2023, the DTEK company summarized its work during the year since the beginning of the full -scale invasion of Russian invaders into Ukraine. The company's employees have resumed power supply to more than 7 million subscribers.
