The International Working Group on Security Guarantees for Ukraine is approaching the completion of the work on the document with recommendations. The document covers a wide range of guarantees of military, economic, political, sanctions. This was reported in the Presidential Office. The co -chair of the group is the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and the former NATO Secretary General Anders Fog Rasmussen.

It is noted that at the third meeting of the group, which took place in videoconference mode, Andriy Yermak stressed that the dream of security guarantees for Ukraine consistently turns into a plan with clear time limits. These guarantees should form a new security order on the European continent and make it impossible to make a new war in the center of Europe, ”the OP chairman said. Yermak said that thanks to the joint efforts of the group members, less than two months, a qualitative comprehensive project project was created. According to him, this document covers a wide range of guarantees: military, economic, political, sanctions.

After preparation of the final version, the document will be submitted to President Vladimir Zelensky. "With his publication on the website of the Presidential Office, our diplomatic structures will receive powerful assistance in the context of negotiations with the governments of the State Union and partners," Yermak said. He is convinced that future security guarantees should become part of legally binding documents, including contracts between Ukraine and guarantors.
