12 Ukrainians were returned from the Russian captivity, among them - difficult to get wounded (photos, videos)

The Coordination Headquarters said that Ukraine had previously handed over to Russia five seriously wounded without any conditions. The enemy returned exactly the same amount of wounded Ukrainians, violating international conventions. Today, on April 3, 12 Ukrainians returned home from Russian captivity, five of whom were difficult to get well. 10 military and two civilians were released. This was reported at the Coordination Staff on the management of prisoners of war.

The defenders of Ukraine were captured in the battles in Donetsk and Luhansk region, all of them belonged to the Armed Forces: 518 Separate Battalion of Special Forces, 25 separate airborne Sicheslav Brigade, 95 Separate Airborne Brigade, 93 Separate Brigade "Kholodna" Kholodnya " and 57 separate rifle battalion. Civilians were captured by hostages in Kharkiv and Mariupol.

The headquarters said that earlier Ukraine had transferred five seriously wounded ones without conditions - all who could be transported. The enemy had also given all seriously wounded Ukrainians under international conventions, but returned only five.

"This eloquently demonstrates the enemy's unwillingness to adhere to the Geneva conventions, not justified the cruelty of seriously wounded and flashy lack of interest in establishing further exchanges for particularly vulnerable categories of prisoners and civilian hostages," the coordination headquarters said. The information that Ukraine was passed by the wounded was confirmed in Russia. TASIA Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova told this.

The headquarters also emphasized that since the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country, more than 2000 Ukrainians have returned home from the hostile captivity. "President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky holds this question as one of the priority on personal control," the Coordination Headquarters reported. We will remind, today Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the murder of Russian propagandist Tatarsky. The President of Ukraine noted that he does not think about the events in St. Petersburg.
