Ukraine returned from Russian captivity of defenders of Snake Island and fighters from Mariupol (video)

As part of a new exchange of prisoners of war with the Russian Federation, 50 Ukrainian defenders returned home. The youngest of them is 19 years old, 44 years old. On Thursday, November 24, a new exchange of prisoners of war with Russia took place. Ukraine managed to return 50 Ukrainian defenders. The head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak told this in Telegram-channel.

According to him, 20 National Guards, 12 fighters of the Navy, 10 defenders from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, six border guards and 2 persons from TROs returned home. Among the released are 48 ordinary and sergeants, as well as two officers. "It is important that we managed to return 19 defenders of Mariupol, 12 of whom were evacuated from Azovstal, as well as 15 captives from the Chernobyl NPP and 7 from the island of Snake," Yermak said.

If we talk about military specialties, it was possible to free from captivity sappers, drivers, doctors, communications, shooters. At least nine of the released are injured. The oldest of the defenders who returned today was 44 years old, the youngest is 19. According to the coordination headquarters on the management of prisoners of war, 86 Ukrainians have returned from the Russian captivity for the last two days, and 1 269 people have returned from the beginning of a full -scale invasion.
