On the front after 5 days of preparation. Or behind the backstage of the "elite" department of the Armed Forces

"Hello! My name is Danilo Butenko, and I am h*bi. That's right. . 2 weeks ago I considered it impossible, but during this time I had any illusions about it. " Opinion. Next is the chronicle of how I was part of 101 separate brigades of the General Staff and what sad things happen here. January 30. I was called from the shopping center of the Dnieper district of Kiev and asked to come on February 2 to "clarify data".

Of course, I understood what was going on, but for a long time I made a decision not to evade the call: if the summons came - I will go. February 2. I arrived in the shopping center, specified my data, passed the medical commission, received a mobilization of the summons on February 8.

To the clarifying question whether education and professional experience are taken into account when dividing into military specialties, received the answer: "Don't worry, there will be representatives of the military unit, they will interview and take into account everything. " Higher education I have theoretical physics. After the university, he was engaged in scientific activity in the specialty, after which he went to IT. Recently, he was engaged in the development of machine training models.

I naively believed that I would be able to apply my knowledge and skills in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. February 8th. Arrived in the shopping center. Representatives of the military unit could not arrive. He stood half a day in queues to hand over documents for a military ticket. He received a new summons on February 15 with a clarification that only call in advance. OK. February 16th. They called and said to appear the next day at the Tax Code at 7am.

Take a standard tourist set with you: sleeping bag, karemate, clothing, utensils, dry -ups for 1 day. He asked, did he know which unit would be sent to? They said - 101 brigade. He went, the security of the General Staff. I thought it was very good. Wikipedia writes: "Elite unit". Now it seems a first -class cynical joke. February 17th. Arrived in the shopping center. There are 4 more people with me. We were taken to the military unit, where 101 brigade is located.

There we were met by the deputy commander of the 12th company on moral and psychological support (Zampolite in the old way). He began to set us up immediately that we will need to go to the front, because the situation is difficult (it was clear and so, to fight someone, what is better than others to stay in the rear?). But when asked how much preparation will continue, he answered it: "Nuuu, depending on the specialty and situation at the front. And in general, everything will be told.

" Almost all day they were waiting for us to give us things. When they received, they were delighted because they knew that the provision of fighters was mainly on volunteers, and here, the armor, the helmet, the backpack, and even tactical glasses. However, it turned out that most of the issued quality - of questionable quality, and still a bunch of everything needs to be purchased. But it was not a surprise. The surprise was waiting in front . . .

Upon arrival in the training camp (Kyiv region) at the first snack, I learned that the whole battalion (including beginners) went to Bakhmut for a few weeks! (If this information is known to every soldier, it is no secret for hostile intelligence. Therefore, I do not disclose any secret information). At first it was not believed.

I thought, maybe only those who have been training for several months and/or had previous military experience, and newcomers would be left in training and sent to the war zone until the next rotation. I was wrong. Finally, doubts disappeared after communicating with the company commander, who said that everyone was going, nothing could be changed because there was an order.

All our preparation (newcomers) was 5 training days: acquaintance with weapons (basic safety, incomplete collection/analysis), 3 tactical medicine classes, 3 infantry tactics, shooting (1 time). From the point of view of the command of the unit, this is enough to keep the defense at the hottest point of the front. At the same time, we were at construction much more time (I counted from 4 to 7 constructions per day), went to the outfit and carried out household work.

And they also ran with documents on the PCB company (happened 5 times a day), although we submitted all the necessary documents in the shopping center. In general, it seems that for the command of paperwork is more important than the lives of the people they command (not sure at all, whether they consider personnel for people).
