There will be no assault on the Independence Day, but the "surprises" from the Russian Federation are possible - the Ministry of Internal Affairs

According to the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin, Putin loves symbolism, so all citizens of Ukraine should be vigilant on August 24. There will be no storm of Kiev on Independence Day of Ukraine, but it is better for citizens of the country to be careful on August 24. The first Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin said this on the national telephone.

"I can say right away, and this is not a secret that no storm of the capital or the offensive of the Russians is expected this day," he commented. However, according to Yenin, "surprises" from the enemy are still possible. "We know well that the Russian leader loves symbolism, which is why we are waiting for special" surprises "for all residents of our country," the Deputy Chairman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.

He recalled that the aggressor country has missiles and airbags that they can use this day. Yinin noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the SBU are in operational readiness and are ready to respond to any events on Independence Day. On the eve of the holiday, police officers are watching the intensification of the so -called "telephone terrorists", which was already observed before the start of a full -scale war.

Thus, on August 18, in a number of regional centers - Lviv, Dnipro and Zhytomyr - unknown began to call massively with reports of "mining" of critical infrastructure and places of mass gathering of people. All this information has not been confirmed, but the police cannot guarantee that none of these reports will be confirmed in the future.

In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs representative appealed to the Ukrainians with a recommendation to be particularly vigilant during the holiday. "I would like to call you, dear compatriots, to listen to the advice we give, who give military administrations - to comply with the requirements of the curfew and to respond properly to air or missile alarm signals," Yinin said.

He also asked for those Ukrainians who noticed something suspicious immediately turned to law enforcement officers or called the National Police hotline. Earlier, the Analytical Department of the Public Initiative "Right Case" reported that Russian special services are preparing to undermine the building of the local Philharmonic in the occupied Mariupol during the so -called court over the captured soldiers of the regiment "Azov" on August 24.
