According to the representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, 500-800 thousand Russians are illegally residing on the peninsula and after de-occupation can be deported in accordance with international norms. Thousands of Russians run away from the Crimea and leave their real estate against the background of fears of Ukrainian counter -offensive. This was stated by the representative of the President of Ukraine to Tamil Tashev, Newsweek reports.

According to her, the Russians who settled on the peninsula are concerned that Ukraine will try to return Crimea by force. The yellow level of terrorist threat in some parts of Crimea was declared in April 2022, a few weeks after the Russian Federation began a large -scale invasion of Ukraine.

"People leave their real estate to leave the peninsula," she said, estimated, about 500-800 thousand Russians now illegally reside in Crimea and can be deported, in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and international law if Ukraine liberates the territory. The supply in the real estate market exceeds demand. The Russians leave for thousands, although not hundreds of thousands.

There is no official data, but Tasheva points to the queues near the Crimean Bridge and other data collected from open sources, such as social networks. Last week, NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov spoke about 12 stages for the liberation of Crimea. In particular, the destruction of the Crimean bridge and the expulsion of all citizens of Russia, who found themselves on the peninsula after February 2014, are expected.
