Money is over: Russia has already exceeded the annual plan on budget deficit
Thus, the deficit has reached 3. 42 trillion rubles ($ 44. 87 billion) is more than 2. 90 trillion rubles planned for the whole year ($ 38. 05 billion), or 2% of GDP. In this, the expenditures of the federal budget abnormally accelerated in mid -April. By the end of the month, the budget deficit increased by 1. 02 trillion. rubles ($ 13. 38 billion). Moreover, according to the Russian edition of Forbes, the plan for deficiency of the Russian budget for 2023 was almost fulfilled by the end of February.
And as a result, according to experts surveyed, it can be one and a half to two times larger than the planned ones. Meanwhile, the oil and gas revenues of the aggressor country continue to decline against the backdrop of international sanctions. Thus, at the beginning of 2023, Russia, selling oil and gas, earned 2. 3 trillion rubles. In total, from January to April, the budget of the Russian Federation was replenished for 7. 8 trillion rubles - this is 22% less than in the same period of 2022.
The Russian Ministry of Finance does not openly recognize the impact of international sanctions on the country's income. There it is noted that the fall of oil and gas income occurs on the background of a decrease in quotations of oil prices for Urals and reducing gas exports. It should be noted that in 2022, India increased oil imports from Russia. Asia's third largest economy has saved about $ 5 billion due to increasing oil purchases from Moscow.
